This sun-bleached walnut coffee table is from Henan province in Northern China and is crafted from walnut (hetaomu) wood. These tables would have been used for everyday family meals as well as utility tables. 

We love these tables as they're often bijou in size and more practical for a modern contemporary apartment. Whilst walnut is naturally a darker wood, this has been bleached over time by the sun, similar to driftwood.
